Season ticket holders gain admission for the January 23 game for £15 (adults), £10 (over-65s and under-17s) and from £2 for under-12s.

Non-season ticket holders will pay £20, and the discounted prices apply for the whole ground, including Palace fans, who will be in the Steve Bull Stand lower tier.

The decision represents a change of heart by Wolves, who pegged normal matchday prices for last season's fourth-round tie against Middlesbrough and were rewarded with a gate of 18,013.

But Wolves' chief executive Jez Moxey said today: "January stretches most families' budgets to the limit.

"Hopefully these discounted prices will ensure we have as many Wolves fans as possible inside Molineux and getting behind the team.

"We'd like to thank Crystal Palace for agreeing to these ticket discounts for both sets of supporters."

Wolves also announced they will be running the Early Bird promotion for the ninth year in a row. Prices will be announced next month.

The 431 fans buying half-season tickets took this year's total of season ticket holders to 20,418.

Moxey added the club will be writing to all season ticket holders from early February.

He said: "I'd like to thank our season ticket holders for continuing to support the team in such large numbers.

"Our fans have played a key role in helping the team head into 2010 in 15th place and, with so many top teams visiting Molineux over the second half of the season, we need that support to continue.

"If everyone really gets behind the team, embraces the underdog spirit that has served us well so far, hopefully we'll be celebrating again on May 9 with Premier League status safely secured."

Season ticket holders can claim their seats for the Palace tie from today. Their seats will be reserved until a week on Saturday. Fans can call the ticket line on 0871 222 1877. Seats go on general sale from Monday.
