Wolves secure Uganda link

Wolves owner Steve Morgan has agreed an exclusive deal which will see Wolves given first refusal on the cream of Uganda's footballing talents.

Under the new agreement promising Ugandans, who could survive the fast pace of the English game, will be referred to the club for trials under the new agreement.

The deal was struck during a mercy mission made by Morgan to Uganda, to follow through with his dreams of setting up running water to three poverty-stricken communities.

"On the way back we were in Kampala and it was just sheer coincidence that SC Villa were playing, which is the top team in the Ugandan league," he said.

"I made contact with the club and took a framed photograph of Molineux and a Wolves flag.

"I said that if there was ever a player who came through who they thought could make it in the English league to let me know and I would fly them over and give them some trials at the club.

"You never know they could refer us a star player or two in the future."
