Wolves give striker trial
Wolves have handed a trial to one of the non-league games' most prolific strikers in a further sign of Mick McCarthy's commitment to trawling the lower leagues for undiscovered talent.
Tonbridge Angels striker Jon Main trained with the first team last week and was due to play in last week's postponed reserve team friendly with Sunderland.

The highly-rated forward, who has scored 37 goals and five hat-tricks for the Ryman Premier League side, has also had trials at Norwich City and MK Dons.
Wolves have decided against taking a further look at the 26-year-old – but the decision to offer him a trial is further evidence of McCarthy's faith in lower league talent.
Molineux top scorer Michael Kightly has been a huge success since making the jump from Conference side Grays into the Molineux first team last year – but he is not the only non-league player McCarthy has looked at this season.
Meanwhile Southampton boss George Burley has called for his under-fire side to unite as they try to rebuild their play-off hopes at Molineux this weekend.
The Saints have won just one point from their last four games – and Burley wants his side to rediscover their fighting spirit on Saturday.
"Now is the time for everybody to stick together," he said.
"We have got to get back into it after a disappointing last four games where we only picked up one point. All four games could have gone either way as far as winning or losing but we conceded too many goals and that's an area where we've got to be tighter."
