Wolves boss is a fan of Jack Wilshere
Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has dubbed Arsenal wonderkid Jack Wilshere a global star in the making who could grace Spain's World Cup winners.
Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has dubbed Arsenal wonderkid Jack Wilshere a global star in the making who could grace Spain's World Cup winners.

Despite his tender years, the 19-year-old midfielder impressed in England's 2-1 win over Denmark on Wednesday after making a big breakthrough with the Gunners this season following a loan spell at Bolton last term.
Wilshere's class and composure on the ball isn't lost on McCarthy as he prepares Wolves to face him at the Emirates tomorrow.
He said: "Jack is an excellent player - I really think he's a terrific footballer. He wouldn't be out of place playing in Spain with the others who can play like that, he's just terrific.
"Potentially, he's a world star, without a doubt."
Despite the lofty praise for the Gunners' protege, McCarthy believes Wolves can cause another upset - if they can show similar composure in possession.
He said: "They're a fabulous team and arguably the best passing team in the league on their day, so we'll have long spells without the ball.
"It's also about us keeping the ball when we get it and having the desire to have it and the confidence to pass it. If you're chasing it for 90 minutes they'll beat you.
"The pitch is as big as you can make it and the surface is magnificent, which suits them. We've just got to avoid getting too worried about that.
"You have to prepare for how to get the ball back. Maybe we need to press when we can and sit back when you have to.
"If we keep giving the ball back to them, it will keep coming back with bells and whistles on it.
"So we'll try to keep the ball, but you can't keep running around after it because if you keep kicking it to them, it will come back."
Although he won't say it publicly, McCarthy believes he has found a chink in the armoury of Arsenal, who conceded four after being 4-0 up at Newcastle last week.
He said: "If there wasn't a way to get at them, they would be top of the league.
"There is a way and it's for us to try to exploit."
