Wolves 1 Liverpool 3 - Player ratings
After the defeat to Liverpool, Liam Keen rates the players on their performance.

Jose Sa - 4
A couple of small errors from Sa were followed up by poor positioning for Liverpool’s winner. His long ball mistake led to their chance, too.
Nelson Semedo - 5
Brilliant in the first half but tired in the second, resulting in him losing his marker on a few occasions.
Craig Dawson - 5
Dawson made a few good blocks to keep Wolves in the game but was caught out too many times.
Max Kilman - 5
Kilman also made some good blocks but then failed to track his runner and Wolves paid the price.
Rayan Ait-Nouri - 5
An average afternoon for Ait-Nouri, who defended well against Salah in the first half before coming off injured.
Joao Gomes - 6
Magnificent in the first half, Gomes covered every blade of grass. He tired in the second half.
Mario Lemina - 6
Similar to Gomes, Lemina was excellent in the first half, but he dropped off in the second half as the intensity of the game caught up to him.
Jean-Ricner Bellegarde - 7
Although he was quieter in the second half before he came off, Bellegarde was excellent on his debut and looked dangerous every time he touched the ball.
Pedro Neto - 7
Another assist and a brilliant overall performance. He was back to his best and even when Wolves were struggling, Neto was impressive on the ball.
Matheus Cunha - 6
A good overall performance from Cunha, but he missed the final touch. He had a huge chance when Wolves were winning 1-0 and his side have now suffered because of that.
Hwang Hee-chan - 6
A good goal for a forward always in the right place at the right time. Aside from that, he was fairly quiet, but Hwang has proved why he deserves to play.
