Transfer rumours - 11 Sept
Expressandstar.com brings you transfer talk and other gossip from Wolves, West Brom, Aston Villa and Walsall.
We have scoured the back pages and the internet to bring you the latest transfer gossip.
We are not saying they are true – just that they're out there.
VILLA
Aston Villa are open to loan offers for goalkeeper Shay Given from Championship clubs, but will not allow the former Republic of Ireland international leave without a subsidy for his £3m a year salary.
However, Given has refused to write off his Villa career and has insisted he is ready to play if handed a shock recall.
WALSALL
Former Saddlers winger Julian Gray could be in line for a return to the Banks's after the 33-year-old made a surprise appearance for the club's reserve side in a 5-3 win at Wigan Athletic.
The former Birmingham City man is understood to be keen on securing a contract and boss Dean Smith has refused to rule out the possibility.
