Transfer column: Ladislav Krejci Wolves latest, West Brom view and Villa stance on star

The Premier League and EFL seasons have now been completed - as attention turns to the summer transfer window.

The talk of transfers and who will go where in the summer has already begun.

The Express & Star brings you the latest daily transfer column with all the latest talk surrounding your clubs.

Not all posts are the view of the Express & Star with some from third party outlets.

Wolves and host of clubs eyeing keeper

It is highly likely Wolves will go in search of a goalkeeper this summer.

Jose Sa has already announced his intentions to leave the club - while Sam Johnstone’s future beyond this summer is unclear.

Wolves have already been linked to a keeper in Austria - but new reports have claimed they could be a strong contender for Sunderland’s Anthony Patterson.

The promotion winner will depart the Black Cats this summer, having spent half of last season at Millwall.

The Lions, along with a string of other clubs, including Wolves, are said to be interested with the keeper set to cost around £8m.

Young Wolves star wanted

According to reports, a young Wolves keeper who has represented England is wanted by Liverpool.

Zach Trinder, who is just 14, has played for England under 15s and represented Wolves at under 18 level.

He is regarded as one of the best young keepers in his age group, and reports have claimed Liverpool are closing in on a deal to sign him.

Leeds want Wolves defender

Ladislav Krejci has been linked with a move to Leeds for some time - and it has now been claimed the Elland Road club are going to ramp up their interest.

A lot of the interest is coming directly from manager Daniel Farke, who is said to be impressed by Krejci’s displays despite Wolves’ relegation.

Wolves have already triggered an option to buy for around £26m - with his deal becoming permanent after an initial loan.

But it has been claimed that Leeds are prepared to offer around that figure, and they don’t see his valuation as an obstacle.

Isaac Price opinion - ‘Best to say for all parties’

Yesterday threw up a links involving Isaac Price and three Premier League clubs.

The Albion playmaker, who had a superb start to the season before his form dipped and recovered later in the campaign - is arguably one of the club’s most valuable assets.

And being a regular international starter, interest this summer would be unsurprising.

However, the best for Price and Albion is that if interest comes in, he stays. Obviously it is fee dependant and if a club comes in with a silly offer then they would have to listen.

Price has so much more to go before he is the finished article. He is a special player, and he will have the chance at Albion to be the main man next season.

He will no doubt leave in the future for good money, but this summer isn’t the right time.

Villa intent on Rogers

Aston Villa are intent on trying to keep Morgan Rogers amid growing interest from a number of clubs.

It has emerged over recent days that Arsenal and Chelsea are set to chance their arm over a big money bid for Rogers.

And PSG have also been added into the mix of what could be a serious transfer battle this summer.

However, Villa are hoping they can keep hold of one of their prized assets.

Villa right back wanted

We reported last week that Villa’s Andres Garcia was wanted in Spain by Valencia.

Now it looks like there is interest from Greece, with Olympiacos set to make an offer for a one year loan deal.

Garcia has had limited playing time since joining the club but remains under contract for another three years.

Reports have claimed clubs in Spain and Italy are also keen, with the Greek side weighing up a loan bid which would include a purchase option.
