Molineux will be rocking for what will be a fascinating derby between Wolves and Villa.

Steve Bruce will arrive determined to prove a point after twice coming close to being our manager.

While Paul Lambert takes on his former side eager to keep the momentum going after an excellent win at Stoke.

Lambert has been asked a lot of questions this week about his time at Villa. But his response was refreshing to hear.

"Wolves fans don't want to hear me talking about any other club," he said when speaking to the press this week.

I think he's absolutely right to leave what happened to him at Villa in the past.

He is now striving to build a successful future for Wolves and there is no need for him to look back.

Both him and Bruce have got a big jobs on their hands.

Villa head to Molineux having made big strides forward since Bruce was appointed manager.

But we have also improved significantly since Lambert's arrival.

I was at the victory over Stoke last weekend and I thought we were absolutely superb.

It was a cracking team performance and there were a lot of excellent individual performances as well.

Carl Ikeme was outstanding in goal and Mike Williamson showed he is the defender Wolves have been crying out for.

I've often mentioned Wolves need an experienced head at the back. Williamson provides that, with his nous and expertise a major asset in what is otherwise a very young back four.

Having now kept three clean sheets in a row away from home, Lambert will be determined to register a home shut-out today.

On paper it's all set for an intriguing battle.

Lambert has said Wolves only have one way to play at the minute and that is to attack.

But they have conceded the most goals at home in the Championship this season with 22.

Villa meanwhile have scored the least away having netted just seven times on their travels.

I'm hoping for a proper derby with both teams really going for it. And fingers crossed Wolves will run out convincing winners.

It's a game that means so much to supporters.

What you can guarantee though is that both sets of fans will come together to remember Graham Taylor.

As I said in the paper yesterday, Graham was a gentleman who put laid the foundations for the fantastic academy Wolves now has.

And his achievements at Villa were remarkable and will never be forgotten by their supporters.

It's fitting this game is taking place this weekend. And I've now doubt both sets of fans will give Graham a fantastic tribute.
