Steve Bull: Chance to step up and be Wolves' main man
With Raul Jimenez gone, the challenge is there for someone else to step up and claim the position as Wolves main man.

In an ideal world we’d all love the club to sign a natural goalscorer who will get 20 goals a season. But with the focus still on outgoings, we have three players who arrived for big money in Matheus Cunha, Fabio Silva and Sasa Kalajdzic who have the opportunity to step up to the plate. It’s a big chance for them.
I was sad to see Jimenez go because I thought he still had something to offer.
I thought, or hoped, he would be here for another year but obviously the club got an offer they felt was good enough from Fulham.
It goes without saying he has left with everyone’s best wishes, having made a host of brilliant memories at Molineux.
On his day, Jimenez was a superb player for Wolves. He scored goals, made goals and put in some unbelievable performances, particularly during his first two seasons when he was such a key part of Nuno Espirito Santo’s team.
I’ve heard a lot of people say he was the best striker the club had since me and I would agree with that. He is right up there with the best. He was a great all-rounder, who was willing to put the work in and chase the ball. He could score all types of goals.
I’m sure like a lot of supporters, I struggle to get my head around Financial Fair Play.
Julen Lopetegui must be as frustrated as the supporters but ultimately the club have to do what they have to do in order to stay within the rules. The key thing is when they are able to spend, they do so on the right players.
While we’ve talked a lot about strikers, I feel there are other areas where we need to strengthen more before the window closes.
I still think we need a bit of experience in the middle of the park and I would like to see another centre-half come in after the departure of Nathan Collins. If either Craig Dawson or Max Kilman were to get injured, it would leave us very short in that department.
