* Of course Moxey doesn't want Souness, he will be out of a job and so he should. If Souness wants to bring his or anyone else's money let him put his money down. If Sir Jack doesn't want a Scot or foreigner as part of the consortium, then keep stum Sir Jack and get your cheque book back out, what else is he going to spend it on !!! If he isn't prepared to sell in the best interest of the club, city and fans, what is he waiting for, if not the fans will vote with their feet and make Saturdays game look full We are not a 14,000 stadium club

Kind regards, Mike Whitehouse

*I would welcome Souness as long as his partner/backer can demonstrate goodwill and a long term commitment to the club. Moxey's denial was foolish.Taken literally, what he said may have been 'accurate' but by failing to acknowledge the bid and discussions last week he has been, at best, economical with the truth. It leaves a bad taste and makes the club and him look foolish. What is he afraid of - that he might lose his job? The fans need to be told the whole truth and precisely why the Souness bid was turned down.

*Moxey is using political language. He is probably correctly stating that Wolves are not in negotiation with Souness, but is not saying that they never were! I think that Sir Jack has also said that he would sell the club for £20m provided he had assurances that there would be considerable extra funds available to invest in the team and take the club forward. Simply buying the club for £20m without further money to invest would be of little short term benefit.

*Personally i see this as being a brilliant new era in the future of Wolverhampton Wanderers. We have a great manager in Mick McCarthy and a dedicated young squad who sweat blood and tears playing for this proud club. Players like Kightly, McIndoe etc epitimise all that is good about the club right now. But, we still need that extra push if we are to make the play-offs, which would be a fantastic achievement after our previous manager nearly killed the club. Souness is exactly what we need, and this would be the final piece of the jigsaw at Wolves. As a player he proved time and time again what a dedicated person he was, and he has never lacked passion, something which I feel will bring about a great bond between him and McCarthy. Who knows, if the takeover is done and dusted before the Cardiff game, we could quite easily bring in a couple of new signings which could make our season complete. Let's all be positive about this, if Sir Jack has any doubts about his committment and dedication, he will not sell the club to him. But, we should give him a chance to see what he can do with the club's fortunes before we judge the man.

* I think it would be great for Graham Souness to take over at Wolves if the backing is right and if he keeps Mick McCarthy as manager, I voted for Mick on your poll and i thought he was the man for the job even before he became our manager at least our board did something right by getting a great manager and I'm now glad we have a young team instead of having players that are to old. Come on you wolves. What ever happens i would like to say a big thank you to Jack Hayward for investing his money in the club. But I think we are about to see the best of Wolves in the next few years and I predict success.

Nathan, Quarry Bank

* Jez Moxey what are you doing? There clearly has been a bid Wolves have asked for new investors and its time for change, and Souness is a great football icon - he will bring so much to Wolves. It's time for the accountant to step aside, and let the investment make a difference to this season in the transfer window.
