Six of the best for Wolves

Wolves are understood to have half a dozen bids for new players lodged at clubs at home and abroad.

The two public bids on the table are for Burnley striker Kyle Lafferty and Hearts defender Christophe Berra.

It is also thought that manager Mick McCarthy has bid for Derby midfielder David Jones and Peterborough striker Aaron McLean.

The other two others are on tables outside the UK, for two as yet unnamed foreign-based players.
