Returning Wolves defender to make matchday squad against Brentford
Yerson Mosquera will travel with the Wolves squad to face Brentford tomorrow with his immediate future at the club up in the air.

The 22-year-old centre-back spent 10 months on loan at American side FC Cincinnati, where a successful spell took the club to the Eastern Conference Final, which they lost to Columbus Crew.
Mosquera returned to Wolves in December and had a short break before training with the first team again.
With a potential loan to the Championship on the cards, Mosquera will now be in the matchday squad for tomorrow’s FA Cup clash with Brentford.
“He’ll be in the squad (to play Brentford),” head coach Gary O’Neil said.
“He’s trained well. We haven’t done loads of big stuff this week, so there hasn’t really been an opportunity to see him in an 11v11.
“But all the small stuff he’s done and all the work he has done with the team, he’s come through it fine.
“He looks a good guy and is good around the place. The lads seem to enjoy having him back and of course we are a little bit short at the moment, numbers wise, as you’ll see (at Brentford) when the team and bench is announced.
“Having Yerson back is a big benefit for us at this moment.”
More than half of Championship clubs have enquired about taking him on loan for the second half of the season, but for the time being Wolves are keen to give O’Neil the chance to assess the defender.
A decision will then be made on whether to give him another loan.
“Firstly, I need to have a look at him,” O’Neil said when asked if he could depart on loan this month.
“I need to see him and decide what’s best for him and what’s best for the team and the club.
“There’s no decision made on whether Yerson will be with us or not at this moment.
“In my mind, for now, he’s with us and if that changes before the end of the window then I’m sure you guys will know fairly quickly.”
Wolves signed the Colombian in June 2021 for a fee of around £4.5million from Atletico Nacional. He made his Wolves debut in the Carabao Cup in the September of that year but within the opening minutes he suffered a serious hamstring injury.
Once he returned he featured several times for the under-21s with his chances in the first team limited.
Mosquera is yet to make his debut in the Premier League, but is understood to be highly thought of by Wolves. It is hoped he will continue to develop and make the step up in the coming years.
