Matt Murray: I want to be boss like Wolves' Kenny Jackett

Wannabe manager Matt Murray admits he is 'fascinated' by the work of the latest man to take up the Molineux post, Kenny Jackett.

The ever-popular ex-keeper is currently studying for his UEFA B Licence with ambitions of one day trying his hand at management.

And with Wolves on course for a League One promotion after two difficult years, Murray is keeping a student's eye on how Jackett is re-shaping the club.

"I think we're where we want to be; we're on track," is his verdict.

"I've had so many influences down the years and I take something from every manager I worked with – most obviously Dave Jones, Glenn Hoddle and Mick McCarthy.

"Kenny has established his values and I was fascinated by the way he reacted in that Bradford game (a 2-1 win) recently when he changed the team early in the match and had a major impact on how the game was played out for his team.

"I doubt I would be able to recognise what was going wrong that early, but that's what all this learning and gaining experience is about."
