Kenny Jackett praises new Wolves duo Leon Clarke and Nouha Dicko

Wolves striker Nouha Dicko has claimed the second goal – his second in three games - after it initially appeared as if it was a Stephen Darby own goal.

"Nouha said it was his goal," said boss Kenny Jackett. "It was definitely his as he got the last touch.

"He's working to a good percentage and bringing some pace and power to our frontline which is something we need."

And Jackett is confident Leon Clarke will come good despite missing three chances on his homecoming.

"Leon has a lot of ability and is a good footballer," he said.

"That's the biggest thing I like about him – he can link the play and that's a key role.

"We hope he can be that player because he's got good touch and awareness.

"It was a winning debut and now he has to keep working hard, for us to understand his game and for him to know and implement what we want him to bring.

"You can vary that number 10 whether it's a midfielder or an attacker and in Leon we have someone that can do a little bit of both.

"He can come deep and get the ball - as he did in the first half - but he's also capable and experienced enough to go up against the centre-half."
