Johnny Phillips: Ex-Wolves man Mark Kennedy’s got plenty to offer as a manager
Mark Kennedy laid down some great foundations in just over a year at Lincoln City, so it was really disappointing to see the former Wolves winger let go from his job this week.

The Imps were a genuinely competitive team at League One level, becoming particularly hard to beat.
That defensive organisation was the side’s strength and in such a strong league it was always going to be difficult to challenge the big-hitters higher up.
Kennedy attracted some quality players to Sincil Bank and the development of Ethan Erhahon and Ethan Hamilton, in particular, have attracted plenty of envious glances.
The pair have progressed well under the former Republic of Ireland international this season.
A diligent and well-prepared coach, Kennedy had spells at Manchester City’s and Wolves’ academies before moving into first-team football, most recently as assistant to Lee Bowyer at Birmingham, before taking the Lincoln job.
I hope he’s back in management soon as he has plenty to offer.
