How Wolves fans rated the players in win against Watford

Look out for the Google Forms link on our website, Facebook and X after each Wolves game this season.

In a new feature this season, Wolves fans gave each of the players a rating after Saturday afternoon’s 1-0 victory over Watford - here are the results as a record number flocked to our vote.

Jose Sa

Probably deserved a 10 for standing around in the pouring rain doing nothing for large parts, but had to be alert late on.

Top grade: 6 (45 per cent)

Kieran Trippier

Touch of class to tee up the winner for Adam Armstrong and a welcome sight on the ball at right-back.

Top grade: 7 (46 per cent)

Yerson Mosquera

Slotted straight back in the team with little bother, though needs to be sharper on the ball.

Top grade: 6 (46 per cent)

Ladislav Krejci

Like Mosquera, his grades were split mainly between a 6 and a 7. Little threat from Watford.

Top grade: 6 (46 per cent)

Hugo Bueno

Solid, if unspectacular, game at left-back - and the fans rated him as such with the split between 5, 6 and 7.

Top grade: 6 (42 per cent)

Andre

Continues to be a popular figure in midfielder. Lovely ball out wide to Trippier for the goal.

Top grade: 7 (37 per cent)

Marshall Munetsi

Divides opinion, with plenty going for a 5 and plenty for a 7, but a 6 won through.

Top grade: 6 (40 per cent)

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde

Opinion was split between a 5 (21 per cent), a 7 (25 per cent) and the winning grade of 6 (29 per cent)

Top grade: 6 (29 per cent)

Jordan James

Gleefully welcomed back into the starting line-up and ran himself into the ground for the cause.

Top grade: 7 (47 per cent)

Rafiki Said

Plenty of endeavour, but lacked the quality needed to put Watford to the sword, but 15 per cent voting for a 4 was harsh.

Top grade: 6 (36 per cent)

Adam Armstrong

The winning goal - his first at Molineux since signing from Southampton - swung the grade from a 6 to a 7.

Top grade: 7 (40 per cent)

Substitutes

Mateus Mane (for Said, 61)

Signs of a return to form for the teenager, who made the most of his 30 minutes on the pitch.

Top grade: 7 (39 per cent)

Tommy Doyle (for James, 78)

Fans didn’t want to see James to go. Doyle came on fired up to show his worth and got booked almost immediately.

Top grade: 6 (39 per cent)

Tawanda Chirewa (for Armstrong, 78)

Little time to make an impact, so grade was split fairly evenly between a 5 and a 6.

Top grade: 6 (41 per cent)

Other subs: Toti Gomes (for Bueno, 90+1), Sean Neave (for Bellegarde, 90+1).
