'He's someone that we like' - Wolves boss quizzed on Raul Jimenez interest
Raul Jimenez will become a free agent this summer.
Rob Edwards has admitted Wolves ‘really like’ Raul Jimenez ahead of a potential return for the star striker.
The former Wolves forward, who became a cult hero as part of Nuno Espirito Santo’s successful side, will become a free agent this summer when his Fulham contract expires.
Jimenez has already opened up the possibility of a stunning return in an interview with the Express & Star, while it is understood early talks have taken place between the club and player.
Edwards remained coy when asked about interest in bringing Jimenez back to Molineux, but he admitted to being a fan of the player.
He said: “Of course we really like Raul, he's a fantastic player, but he's also someone else's player at the moment as well.
“So I don't want to go into it right now, but of course he's someone that we like.”
