Mick McCarthy's men go to Turf Moor having lost four of their last five matches but the setbacks have been extremely tight affairs, edged out by the odd goal against Birmingham, Bolton and Manchester United while going down 2-0 to Chelsea.
In each game there has been a hard luck story for the Molineux masses.
Blues appeared to be heading for defeat before the two-goal arrival of nemesis Kevin Phillips broke Wolves' hearts, while they were denied by two excellent saves from goalkeeper Petr Cech against Chelsea, hit the inside of the post twice at Bolton and missed two sitters through Stephen Ward and Sam Vokes against United.
Wolves have become more solid since switching to 4-5-1.
But, despite keeping the same system, McCarthy will name an unchanged team for the fifth successive game with defender Berra is braced for a more free-flowing game as both teams need the points to avoid the drop.
The Scotland international said: "Burnley will be a totally different game. There will be some nerves and it will be 'hell and belt it'. Burnley play good football and both teams will be going for it.
"Going away from home it's always going to be hard. But it's a game we know we can win. To get a victory we've got to put in the kind of performance we did against United.
"We can't just turn up and get a victory, we have to earn it. Don't get me wrong, they'll be coming at us and thinking they have a great chance to get a victory at home, so it will be a difficult game.
"If you look at our recent performances, with the exception of Crystal Palace in the FA Cup, we've played well. We just haven't been taking our chances and have been conceding silly goals.
"But that's football - one minute you're on a high the next you're on a low. We're not on a low just now.
"We were disappointed to be beaten, but we took a lot of positives out of the game and we're looking to turn those positives into three points."
Berra admits the United defeat was hard to stomach but insists the players have regrouped and will be confident of getting a positive result at Turf Moor.
He said: "It was hard to take. It was the same old story, we do so well and then get beaten by a top team who take their chance. Paul Scholes had one chance and that was a bit fortunate as the ball deflected off him into his path. But he still showed good composure.
"I know we didn't score but overall it was a good performance and if we play like that until the end of the season, I'm sure we'll get a few wins because I think everyone can see we played well against United and created chances.
"We feel we've been playing well and not getting our reward, but hopefully, our luck will change. We might play poorly at Burnley and nick a 1-0 win.
"We just need to get three points and if we keep playing like that and keep putting in performances like that with that kind of commitment and hard work, I'm sure we'll get some results.
"That's why United are champions - they get one chance and take it and they're looking good just now.
"They've played many games like this where teams have played well against them and had chances but they've had one chance and put it in the net.
"It's going to go right to the end for whoever wins the league and it will go right to the end whoever gets relegated."
