Frank Nouble set for loan exit at Wolves

Summer signing Frank Nouble looks set for a quick Molineux exit – as Razak Boukari and Georg Margreitter are poised to hand Wolves a double boost.

Nouble, who played 85 minutes of last night's 0-0 reserves' draw at home to Middlesbrough, is likely to leave on loan just five months after joining on a free from West Ham.

The 21-year-old striker signed a two-year deal in June before manager Stale Solbakken officially started.

After just one substitute's appearance in the Championship, an eighth loan spell of his career is looming.

"We've had an open discussion and Frank needs to play," said Solbakken.

"He's had too few games, and we're not in a position to give him that now."

Boukari returns to full training next week after six weeks out with a hamstring injury, while centre-back Margreitter is set to return after another jab to solve his hip problem.

Meanwhile, Wolves today reacted with surprise after former player Mark Davies criticised the medical treatment he received at the club.

Davies has made 121 appearances for Bolton since his £1m switch in January 2009. In an interview with Bolton's programme for Tuesday's 0-0 draw against Leicester, the 24-year-old claimed he was forced to train while injured at Wolves.

"I damaged my medial ligaments and meniscus and had three operations," said Davies. "I knew there was something wrong but Wolves' medical staff kept telling me everything was fine."

But Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey said: "Mark's injury was resolved completely satisfactorily."

Eggert Jonsson has joined Charlton and Ethan Ebanks-Landell Bury for one and three-month loans.
