Exclusive: Gary O'Neil gives transfer latest on Wolves star and possible incomings
Gary O’Neil is eager to add a centre-back to his Wolves ranks this summer – as he revealed there were currently no offers on the table for star attacker Pedro Neto.

Max Kilman has already departed the club in a £40million deal, while Yerson Mosquera has returned from his loan spell to add depth to the defence.
But the head coach is still determined to add a new and experienced centre-back to his side this summer.
“In Premier League experience, maybe centre-back,” O’Neil told the Express & Star’s Wolves podcast when asked if the squad was short in any positions.
“Toti and Yerson I’m sure will be excellent. We know Dawson can play in the Premier League and Santi has done unbelievably well in Spain and had a good introduction last year.
“But we lost one that played every minute and it’s a big hole to fill.

“Yerson coming back fills some of that, but Max played every minute of every game for us.
“Centre-back, I still think we’ll try to do something, but I am really pleased with how the four have looked.
“I speak to Matt Hobbs every day. I’ve had some good conversations about what we’re still trying to do, things that might move.
“There’s still lots of stuff going on, Matt’s working really hard.
“The three he’s brought in fit what we want and that will be continued through the window. Anyone we do bring in will fit perfectly with the culture and what we’re trying to achieve.”
In terms of outgoings, several big clubs are interested in Neto, with Wolves demanding at least £60million if he is to depart.
As it stands, the head coach is adamant that Wolves have had no offers for the winger, but does not rule out his departure later this summer.
“I know how good he is and how well he would do at a big club, but I want our team here to be unbelievably successful and I’m hoping he stays,” O’Neil added.
“There’s nothing going on at this moment from anybody, he’s in a good spot and I’ve spoken to him about how we’re going to play, how it suits him and the big part he’ll play in it.
“But of course, it can change really quickly if a massive bid comes in from a top club, then no-one will stand in Pedro’s way.
“It’s still my duty to him and everybody to make sure he’s ready to play for us.
“I’m confident that he will be here because we haven’t had anything that makes the club think he won’t be.
“But a lot of the business can be done late, even up to the last couple of hours, so until the window is closed there’s always a chance.”
As with any player, Wolves have a shortlist of targets should a member of the squad be sold.
Although Neto leaving later in the window is a possibility, O’Neil says any move would be blocked if it meant Wolves could not replace him in time.
O’Neil said: “We were aware of the Max Kilman stuff really early.
“Although it took some time to be concluded, we were in a position where we felt it would get concluded.
“We were then able to do some bits before. We wouldn’t have done that without selling Kilman.
“For anyone that leaves, Pedro or anyone else, if it’s with one minute to go in the window and we can’t replace him, then he won’t be able to go.
“If anyone is thinking of nicking any of our best players, I hope you don’t, but if you do we won’t be letting them leave unless we have good replacements that we can get in.”
