'Anomalies': Why West Ham battering shows Wolves simply aren't good enough - despite memorable results

Wolves came back from a three and a half week break to be thumped by West Ham on Friday night.

Wolves were hoping for a bounce to kick off their run in - however they got anything but at the London Stadium.

A tight first half was followed by three goals in the second period - as Wolves suffered a battering at the hands of the Hammers.

It has now led to a situation where relegation can be confirmed this weekend.

On the latest episode of the E&S Wolves podcast, Jonny Drury and Liam Keen discuss the loss, and whether wins over Villa and Liverpool are simply outliers in the season - and that the Hammers result shows they are far from good enough.
