Steve Bull: Matheus Nunes Wolves strike shows no loyalty in football
I was disappointed and frustrated at how Matheus Nunes acted in his final days at Wolves.

There’s no loyalty in football any more – it’s shocking in my eyes.
If you have a long contract you should try to serve as much of that as you can. I know a club like Manchester City can turn your head, but he shouldn’t have gone on strike.
He should have got his head down and focused on his football, and let everyone else sort out the deal.
But he’s gone now and I wish him well. With him going, Wolves have been able to add in some key positions.
The main one for me was centre-back and they’ve filled that by bringing in Santiago Bueno.
These additions have been really key for Wolves. They needed the strength in depth going forward this season.
It is now up to Gary O’Neil to put it all together with the squad he has.
He didn’t have much time with the team beforehand and he deserves a chance, having now made some signings.
Crystal Palace will be a tough game but he knows the squad he will now have until at least January, so it’s time to get on with it.
Looking back on the win over Blackpool in the Carabao Cup, it was a good win for a number of reasons. I don’t care who you’re playing, you have to put the ball in the net – so it was nice to see a few players getting on the scoresheet.
It will give plenty of them a boost in confidence now heading into the next game against Palace.
It was a good performance and some young lads did very well. Getting those goals is a massive bonus and it was huge for Sasa Kalajdzic and Fabio Silva.
They’ll be on a high now heading into the Palace game, and it’s great for Silva to get the number nine shirt. I don’t think it’s added pressure for him, but he does need to try to fill the boots of a fantastic striker in Raul Jimenez.
Let Silva get on with it now. He knows what he has to do and this first goal will give him a huge amount of confidence.
