Adama Traore set for Wolves exit
Wolves are still waiting to learn Adama Traore’s future, with the winger due to formally become a free agent at the end of the week.
An offer for the Spain international to remain at Molineux remains on the table and the club have not completely given up hope he will return.
But the increasing likelihood, with his current contract about to expire, is Traore will be moving elsewhere after five years in the West Midlands.
Italian champions Napoli have previously been credited with an interest in the 27-year-old, who is also among the countless players being touted for a possible move to the Middle East.
Head coach Julen Lopetegui had expressed hope of keeping Traore on board despite using him sparingly at times during the second half of last season.
Wolves have several wingers on their list of targets and Traore’s departure would further reduce the wage bill following the exits of Joao Moutinho, Diego Costa and Ruben Neves.
Other exits seem likely with the club still keen to raise money.
Brentford remain in talks over a £25million deal for centre-back Nathan Collins. Raul Jimenez, Daniel Podence, Rayan Ait-Nouri and goalkeeper Jose Sa could also depart should decent offers be received.
