Steve Bull: I'm pleased to see Nelson Semedo stay at Wolves

I’m pleased to see Nelson Semedo staying at Wolves.

He’s a tricky full-back, or wing-back, who is up and down that flank and gives his all.

If he loses the ball he always gets back and he tries his best in his position, so fair play to him for loving the club and wanting to stay.

All parties wanted to make this one happen and it’s now time to get everyone else started, and get some faces in. They’ll have things in the pipeline.

But we have two games to get through first and the last game at Molineux this season will be emotional for some players, who don’t expect to stay at the club.

Every one of those players has done very well for us, they’ve served us well.

I’d like to think fans will stick around after the game to give them a send off.

The rest of the squad deserve it too, because it’s been a massive achievement since Christmas to achieve safety.

We could have been playing Championship football next season, but the players on that pitch all played a part in keeping us up this year.

They’ve done well to get us where we are this season.

Looking back on the defeat to Manchester United, it’s important to mention Dan Bentley as he made a few really good saves and held his own.

He looked a little bit nervous with his first few touches, but once that was out the way he started to settle and really enjoyed it. He did well and looks like a good option who can add competition for Jose Sa.

But it was a poor result again and we let United walk all over us.

We have no end product at all. We got to the final third and there was nothing there to throw the ball at.

That’s a big issue for Julen Lopetegui to correct for next season. You won’t score many goals without a shot on target!

Wolves also don’t shoot enough at all. It’s frustrating to watch.

At least we’re safe and it won’t cost us now, and it has to be put right for next season.
