The 19-year-old, who has played once for Wolves' first team, has been named in a 24-man squad for games against Wales and Panama later this month.

It follows an already good few weeks for Otasowie – capable of playing in both midfield and defence – after making two of Nuno Espirito Santo's last three matchday squads in the Premier League.

He has played in central midfield for James Collins' under-23s recently after also featuring as a centre-half for the development side in the past.

The USA squad is made up entirely of players who are plying their trade outside of the States, given the MLS season is in full flow.

Also included are Chelsea's Christian Pulisic and Fulham pair Tim Ream and Antonee Robinson.

Gregg Berhalter's charges are facing Wales in Swansea on November 12.

They will then go up against Panama on November 16 – in Wiener Neustadt, Austria.
