In Nuno Espirito Santo's side's final warm-up game before the restart of the Premier League season at West Ham, Lukas Jutkiewicz opened the scoring for the home side before Wolves equalised late on through Morgan Gibbs-White.

As was the case with the Nottingham Forest friendly at Molineux last Tuesday – which Wolves lost 2-0 courtesy of a Tyler Walker penalty and a John Bostock strike – there was no official referee or assistant referees.

Social distancing guidelines had to be adhered to as well, with players travelling to the ground alone, a thorough risk-assessment carried at St Andrew's beforehand and only essential club personnel allowed into the stadium.

Wolves will now train as normal at Compton this week, with any practice matches taking place in-house.

They are getting the top-flight campaign back under way at the London Stadium next Saturday (5.30pm), with Nuno's charges currently sitting sixth in the table and well in the race for European football once more.

The Hammers, meanwhile, are in a relegation scrap, sat in 16th. The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
