Steve Bull: Wolves goals will soon arrive

Wolves have not scored in their last two games – but there is no need to panic.

They failed to make their dominance count at Brighton last weekend. That happens from time to time though.

Sometimes you can be on the back foot for most of the game and scrape a 1-0 win and at other times, like on Saturday, you can have the lion’s share of the chances and lose 1-0.

The big thing for Nuno following the dismal display against Watford was getting a response, and the players performed a lot better.

They played some really nice attacking football at the Amex and forced Mat Ryan into some fine saves, having a couple of penalty shouts too.

I’d be much more worried if they did not have those 25 shots against the Seagulls.

At least they are creating opportunities.

In the Premier League, Wolves are not going to score two or three goals every week – they are built to be solid first and foremost and we have seen them, for the most part, hold their own defensively.

They are 10th in the table, they have shown they can cut it, so they have just got to keep plugging away and I’m sure that cutting edge will come.

I think Nuno will have had them all doing plenty of shooting practice in training this week.

He has got a bit of a headache in terms of who to pick in his front three at the moment but the forward line will soon show what they are all about.
