The latest instalment of the Fifa franchise, that has been released every year since 1993, pulls in gamers from across the globe and now Wolves fans can see the old gold and black of Molineux recreated in the game for the first time.

With Wolves' promotion to the Premier League, Molineux has been digitally created to the finest detail for gamers to enjoy alongside fellow promoted sides Cardiff and Fulham.

It's also expected that each new stadium will have chants from the crowd unique to the club meaning that gamers could hear 'Hi Ho Wolverhampton' ringing through their screens by the end of the month.

EA's partnership with England's top division was expanded in 2016 when they announced the two groups would be sharing sponsorship on various platforms as well as installing all Premier League grounds into their game.

This means that since Wolves' last outing in the Premier League was in the 2011 - 2012 season, this year is the first time that Molineux appears in the game.

Before Molineux's introduction, fans would have to see their favourite Wolves players line up at fictional stadium 'Ivy Lane'.

Wolves tweeted: "130-years-old and it’s in the game for the first time! Molineux looking fire in Fifa 19.

"We'd like to take this opportunity to thank Ivy Lane for being a fantastic host to the club over recent years.

"We leave with a heavy heart but the time has come for us to return home."

Now Wolves are in the Premier League, Molineux has its own digital adaptation.

As well as being the first year the game features Molinuex, EA have also secured licensing for the Champions League, meaning that popular game modes Career Mode and Ultimate Team will have elements from Europe's biggest club competition.

A handful of Championship grounds have also been added to this year's game, including Villa Park and The Hawthorns.

Fifa 19 launches worldwide on September 28 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
