The 17-year-old is back at Compton Park having won the Under-17 World Cup with England in India.

Gibbs-White played a starring role in England's success and will now look to add to his eight first team appearances.

Nuno has spoken to the youngster and says it's too soon to know if Gibbs-White will make it as a future star.

"First of all we have to be happy to have a world champion among us," Nuno said. "I don't think anyone else (at Wolves) can say that!

"I told him personally he has to come back to reality and the reality we are talking of is a young player with a bright future in front of him that requires a lot.

"It's too soon to say Morgan Gibbs-White is going to 'be'.

"He has to enjoy what he did with England but tomorrow he has to work hard and progress and be better and become what we all expect from him – a very good football player."

The teenager hopes to force his way into Nuno's first-team plans although with the head coach having remarkable strength in depth at his disposal, with the likes of Kortney Hause, Jack Price, Roderick Miranda, Connor Ronan and Michal Zyro not even making the squad for the 2-0 win over Fulham last time out, that will be difficult.

However Nuno says the whole squad will be important over the coming months.

"It's a squad," he said. "We have to keep working hard and increase our levels of performance.

"This is our message from day one, we have a long way to go and it's about getting better. The players know that.

"Nothing changes in our routines.

"The result is the future – the present is the game. So we have to manage the game. The key message is be ourselves every game."
