West Ham to rival West Brom for Romelu Lukaku
West Ham joint-owner David Sullivan today set his sights on West Brom loanee Romelu Lukaku as he eyes up a 'dream' strike partnership next season.
The Hammers have agreed a £15million fee with Liverpool to turn Andy Carroll's loan from Liverpool into a permanent deal, with the England international now weighing up whether to make the move.

And Sullivan revealed today that he wants to take Lukaku on loan to Upton Park next season after he hit 17 goals during his stint at the Hawthorns.
Sullivan said: "If we sign Andy, it will be a record signing for the club. He and Romelu would be devastating – the best strike-force outside of the top six or seven.
"Lukaku has been amazing for West Brom this season and I'd hope that he would prefer to live in London."
Lukaku has also been linked with Swansea amid reports he is keen on Europa League football next season.
But the 20-year-old told a Belgian television channel this week that European football is not essential.
That's a view that tallies with West Brom's belief that he could still return to the Hawthorns for a second season on loan.
Lukaku is believed to favour either regular football at Chelsea or another spell with West Brom, unless he is offered a loan at a major European club.
Baggies sporting & technical director Richard Garlick said: "Romelu deserves all the credit he's been getting for his fantastic contribution.
Meanwhile, Peter Odemwingie's hopes of a move to Hull could hinge on the Tigers' success in pulling off alternative deals. Tigers manager Steve Bruce is monitoring the want-away Baggies man.
But Blackburn's Jordan Rhodes and Burnley's Charlie Austin are thought to be above the Nigeria international on the Premier League new-boys' target list.
eWest Brom will look to offload the 31-year-old this summer following five months of turmoil following his efforts to force through a transfer to Queens Park Rangers in January.
But boss Steve Clarke insisted last week that the Baggies will demand the "market value" for their record Premier League goalscorer.
