West Brom striking prospect returns from injury-hit loan
Albion youngster Eseosa Sule has returned to the club from an injury-hit loan at Motherwell.
The 19-year-old Scot, previously of Celtic, joined the Scottish Premiership club from the Baggies in the summer on a season-long loan.
Striker Sule made three appearances for The Well, all back in July, in the early rounds of the Scottish League Cup. The teen made one start and a further two outings from the bench.
But he endured a setback with an unspecified injury, for which he returned to Albion for surgery. It was said there was a chance he could return to Fir Park once finished with rehabilitation, but the loan has been ended on the first day of the transfer window.
Sule was in the goals for Albion's under-21s last season and as a result the Glasgow-born frontman was rewarded with a loan switch to his homeland.
The striker moved to the Black Country from Scottish giants Celtic in January 2023. He turns 20 on April 1 and signed a new two-year deal at Albion last summer, to run until 2027.
