West Brom duo George Thorne and Zoltan Gera hit by new injury concern
Albion were today checking on the fitness of George Thorne and Zoltan Gera after the midfield duo suffered fresh injuries in their latest comeback game.
The pair, who are on the road back from cruciate knee ligament injuries, both left the field before half-time in yesterday's 4-2 Under-21s victory over Liverpool at The Hawthorns.
Thorne, who had earlier scored, tweeted that his exit was a precaution.
Matej Vydra cancelled out Liverpool's opener before Thorne and Kemar Roofe made it 3-1. Liverpool replied but Roofe scored a second.
