Watch - West Brom fan favourite Matheus Pereira scores ridiculous Copa Libertadores goal
The former Albion man netted a stunner in Cruzerio’s 4-0 win on Friday.
Matheus Pereira may have only spent two seasons at Albion - but the Brazilian playmaker will be forever remembered by the Baggies fans.
The magician, signed on loan from Sporting CP, lit up the Championship during the 2019/20 season and led Slaven Bilic’s Albion to Championship promotion before his move became permanent for £8m.
And despite immediate relegation from the top flight - Pereira shone in the Premier League netting 12 goals as Albion battled to beat the drop.
After relegation, he was sold for £17m to Al-Hilal before moving to Cruzerio in Brazil two years later.
In Brazil he has netted 19 goals in 111 starts - and the 30-year-old has not lost any of his magic and flair that he showed week in week out at The Hawthorns.
His latest stunning goal came in Cruzerio’s 4-0 win in the Copa Libertadores group game against Barcelona de G.
The former Baggies hero glanced home a header to give his side an early lead - before a ridiculous bicycle kick late in the game wrapped up the win for his side.

It comes after it was reported back in January that a number of clubs in England were keeping tabs on Pereira - ahead of a potential move.
