WATCH: Hawthorns hero Robbo joins Express & Star's Baggies Broadcast!

It’s just over 18 years since Paul Robinson helped West Brom to the Premier League - and now he is back to see if James Morrison’s Class of 26/27 can do it again.

A huge favourite with Baggies fans, ‘Robbo’ is joining Albion correspondent Lewis Cox and deputy sports editor Derek Bish on the Baggies Broadcast - which you can listen to every Tuesday.

Robinson first moved to The Hawthorns in 2003 and went on to win two promotions to the Premier League - as well as being part of the ‘Great Escape’ of 2004/05.

As part of the side that guided West Brom into the Premier League for the first time, Robinson remains a massively popular figure with supporters and is still working in football as part of the coaching staff at Oxford City - as well as keeping a close eye on the fortunes of his former club.

He made 238 appearances for the Baggies across seven years and during that time played alongside current Baggies boss James Morrison.

Now he can’t wait to join the Express & Star’s team to bring you his invaluable insight and views into what’s happening on and off the pitch.

Robbo said: “I’m delighted to be joining the Express & Star’s Albion coverage as a regular member of the Baggies Broadcast team.

“It will be great to get stuck into podcasts each week to discuss the burning issues in the fanbase and analyse and discuss the latest for James Morrison’s team.

“My old team-mate Moz has had a brilliant start at the helm and I hope there are many good days ahead. We will be there to cover them!”
