No further action after racial abuse report in West Brom v Blues clash
No further action will be taken on the supporter who was alleged to have racially abused Blues player Juninho Bacuna in February, West Midlands Police have confirmed.

An incident at The Hawthorns between Albion and West Midlands rivals Blues saw a 50-year-old man from Dudley arrested by the force.
But discussions between the police and Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) decided there is “currently insufficient evidence” to charge anyone.
In a statement, West Midlands Police stressed all hate crimes are fully investigated and can be revisited in the future.
West Midlands Police had appealed for witnesses after the incident in the West Stand late on against Blues, which Albion won 1-0. Winger Bacuna reported the issue to referee David Webb.
Albion said in a statement anybody found guilty of racism would receive a lifetime ban.
West Midlands Police said: “We’ve carried out a full investigation into a report of racial abuse against a Birmingham City player at The Hawthorns last February.
“Following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) it has been decided there is currently insufficient evidence to charge anyone.
“A man who was arrested on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence will face no further action. He’s been updated along with both clubs.
“We will always fully investigate any hate crime reports we receive. We need people to tell us so we can carry out enquiries.
“We can always revisit investigations with any new information.
“We do not tolerate racist abuse in any form either in football or society in general, and we will seek to prosecute anyone who commits hate crime.”
Albion’s statement in February underlined a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of discrimination.
It read: “The club takes a strong stance against all forms of discrimination and will do all it can to ensure anyone found guilty of racism faces the toughest available legal punishment, in addition to a lifetime ban from The Hawthorns.”
