Martis backed after blunder
Albion coach Peter Grant has paid tribute to defender Shelton Martis for bouncing back from his nightmare start against Stoke.
Grant reckons the 26-year-old did 'exceptionally' to recover from the second-minute error that handed Stoke a crucial lead.

Although the Baggies went on to lose 2-0 to the Potters, Grant believes the Dutch centre-back's performance for the rest of the match was encouraging for manager Tony Mowbray.
First team coach Grant said: "It was a concern with Shelton because we've wondered, when he made an error, how quickly he would recover.
"The best players recover very quickly. He had a poor five or 10 minutes afterwards, but after that I thought him and Jonas Olsson did exceptionally well against two very different players and difficult opponents.
"Great credit to him. Hopefully that will make him a stronger player because he could have gone one of two ways.
"He could have gone completely, five minutes afterwards he was still recovering from it.
"But after that he put in a very sound performance and we were very pleased with him. People forget he has probably only played three or four games in the Premier League and he is a young man.
"He has been out with injuries or whatever and after performing the way he has he's got to be delighted with himself.
"He will be disappointed with the mistake he made on Saturday, but there was disappointment on his face and nobody needs to tell him."
