Jonas Olsson's gruesome leg injury is revealed on Twitter

West Brom defender Jonas Olsson was today nursing a gruesome leg injury – two days after a nasty collision in the 3-3 draw at West Ham.

The Sweden international went down in agony at Upton Park after being caught on his left hip by a high boot from Hammers striker Carlton Cole late in the first half.

Cole was booked by referee Mike Dean and Olsson completed the game despite two ugly-looking cuts to his leg.

And team-mate Ben Foster today tweeted a picture showing the current state of the wound.

Olsson is due back in action on New Year's Day, when the Baggies face Newcastle at The Hawthorns.
