Many expected Karlan Grant to be one of the Albion players released this summer when the club announced its latest retained list.
Grant, signed back in 2020 on a six year deal, missed most of the back end of the campaign through injury, ahead of his contract running out in June.
When Albion announced their released in retained list, it was stated that the club remain in negotiations with Grant over potentially extending his stay at The Hawthorns.
