Albion star has cup dreams

Albion's Chris Brunt today revealed his dream of emulating his Manchester United FA Cup heroes and claimed: "We can go all the way".

Brunt opened the scoring in the Baggies 5-0 thrashing of Coventry on Saturday as they won a place in the quarter-finals.

And the Ulsterman reckons any of the eight remaining teams can now lift the trophy.

"It's anybody's competition," he said. "You never know what can happen. Anybody could win."

Brunt is also confident that the Baggies can prolong their FA Cup adventure without damaging their Championship promotion challenge as they did a year ago.

"The Championship and getting into the Premier League is our main priority," he said.

"It's where everybody wants to go.

"But the FA Cup will be a bonus if we can get there and it's another competition for us to try to build some results.

"If we can go on a run unbeaten that will be good.

"I suppose it's an extra game but if we get through the next round we are in an FA Cup semi-final. One extra game shouldn't make any difference."
