There is, meanwhile, no shortage of interest in winger Grady Diangana ahead of Friday's 11pm deadline.

Winger Diangana has been available this summer and still has multiple admirers at this late stage of the window.

Burnley, Leicester and Leeds are among those to have registered interest during the off-season.

Corberan is looking to bolster his attacking options, be it an attacking midfielder or versatile option able of covering a couple of attacking roles.

The other priority before the deadline is a right-back or right wing-back.

United States international Reggie Cannon, a 25-year-old full-back formerly of FC Dallas and Boavista, is understood to be on Albion's list of targets.

Cannon left former club Boavista, in Portugal, over the summer and has attracted other Championship interest.
