Oliver Burke looks likely to leave Albion this summer with clubs in England, Spain, Germany and Turkey interested in signing the forward.

The Scotsman remains the Baggies’ record signing having cost in the region of £15million when he joined from RB Leipzig in 2017.

But despite that hefty price tag, Burke has struggled to settle at The Hawthorns and has made just 20 appearances for the club – with the 22-year-old spending last season on loan in La Liga with Alaves.

Despite his troubles with Albion, it is understood a host of clubs believe they can harness Burke’s raw potential and have expressed an interest in signing the former Nottingham Forest man.

It is believed a host of clubs in Turkey are interested in the Scottish international – with one of those Trabzonspor. The Super Lig side are now managed by former Albion coach Eddie Newton, who was appointed permanent boss earlier this month.

But having previously enjoyed spells in Spain and Germany, there is also interest in Burke from across Europe as well as in England.

Scottish champions Celtic – who Burke had a loan spell with in 2019 – have also been linked with a move for the forward, who is currently in pre-season training with the Baggies.

The Express & Star understands one 12-month loan offer has been made for Burke since the summer transfer window opened.

But that was rejected by Albion with the club and the player believed to want a permanent transfer.

Burke is thought to want to find a club where he can settle down and focus on his football.

And Albion are keen to bring in funds to bolster Slaven Bilic’s transfer budget.
