The 18-year-old right-back, who spent the first half of the season loan at League One Walsall, was recalled in January.

He has now returned to League Two Exeter, where he spent last season on loan, making 22 appearances.

Wilson joins fellow Baggies academy defender Dara O'Shea, 19, at St James Park.

O'Shea has had his loan spell extended until the end of the season after impressing in the first half of the season for the Grecians.

Exeter are currently in eighth place in League Two, out of the play-off places on goal difference.

Striker Callum Morton, 18, and defender Kyle Jameson, 19, will remain on loan in the National League with Braintree and Barrow respectively

Midfielder Nick Clayton-Phillips, 19, has joined National League North’s Kidderminster Harriers on loan and goalkeeper Adam Przybek has joined Rushall Olympic until February.

Last night, Albion's under-23s lost 4-2 to Newcastle under-23s at Whitley Park.

Clayton-Phillips opened the scoring, before Newcastle roared into a 3-1 lead.

Jamie Soule pulled one back for the young Baggies before their hosts sealed victory with 15 minutes to go.
