The participation of both Nacer Chadli (thigh) and Oliver Burke (hamstring) is in doubt, though the Baggies could welcome back defender Gareth McAuley following his recovery from a thigh injury.

“We have got one or two little knocks but we won't know exactly whether they'll be OK or not [until] tomorrow,” said boss Tony Pulis.

“Nacer is one of the ones who has still got a problem, we will have to have a look again later on this morning to see how he is. Oli Burke is another one.”

£15million man Burke underwent a scan after being forced out of Monday’s under-23s game against Brighton at The Hawthorns.

Chadli missed last weekend’s 3-1 Premier League defeat to the Seagulls with a thigh strain.

McAuley could be in line for his first appearance of the campaign but will not be rushed back.

Pulis added: “We are pleased Gareth got 45 minutes in for the under-23s and had a week's training which is a bonus for us.

“Whether he is ready to go on Saturday, we will have to wait and see.”
