Wilson spent the second half of last season on loan at The Hawthorns, but still has a year left on his two-year Cherries contract.

However, the versatile 29-year-old is eager to leave the south coast, where he failed to impress Eddie Howe.

The Baggies first approached Bournemouth about a possible permanent deal at the end of last season, and have now returned to the negotiating table.

Bournemouth are expected to want £1million for the former Stoke City player, who enjoyed being reunited with Pulis and moving further north so he and his young family could return to his family home in Knutsford.

Badstuber left the German champions after 15 years at the club, and has a number of suitors this summer.

The 28-year-old is available on a free transfer, but Pulis is currently pursuing other preferred centre-back options ahead of him.
