MYLES ROBERTS
Got the slightest of finger tips to Fletcher Holman’s finish but was left stranded for Aaron Drinan’s match-winner.
Difficult: 6
CONNOR BARRETT
Took a while to settle into the contest on his first start in two months but was pretty reliable until he was subbed off for the closing stages.
Recalled: 6
ADEN FLINT
Looped an early chance on to the roof of the net but failed to play to the whistle when Jake Batty broke in behind to set-up Drinan for the winner.
Switched off: 5
KACPER LOPATA
Blocked a low effort by James Ball to stop a promising Swindon counter-attack in its tracks and did well with his aerial battles overall.
Solid: 6
MASON HANCOCK
Created a couple of early openings for Flint and Daniel Kanu and always strived to get forward, although he perhaps neglected his defensive duties at times.
Key: 7
ALFIE CHANG
A tad safe in the first half but helped create a great opening with a scooped cross to the back post after the break before going off with a knee issue.
Knock: 6
BRANDON COMLEY
Battled in the midfield and made a number of key interceptions, although his passing was not necessarily as precise as usual.
Battled: 6
CHARLIE LAKIN
Sloppy in possession at times, especially in the first half, but did threaten on the transition.
Challenging: 6
ALBERT ADOMAH
Returned to the starting line-up and led a number of counter-attacks. His legs were clearly tiring in the latter stages though.
Faded: 6
DANIEL KANU
Passed up two great chances in either half and had a purple patch once Walsall scored the opener before fading.
Involved: 6
AARON LOUPALO-BI
Saw an early effort deflect straight at Connor Ripley and set-up the opener for Jamie Jellis with an excellent cross.
Assist: 6
