Walsall FC want to keep loanee Ian McLoughlin
Walsall manager Dean Smith today confirmed he wants to extend goalkeeper Ian McLoughlin's loan – but doubts he can keep him until the end of the season.
The shot-stopper's deal from Milton Keynes Dons expires after tomorrow's clash with Notts County.

The Republic of Ireland under-21 international has made five appearances since arriving in January – helping the Saddlers up to ninth in League One.
And Smith, who won Manager of the Month today, will hold talks with MK Dons boss Karl Robinson.
"It's Ian's last game tomorrow and I'll be in touch with Karl to see if we can do anything in terms of extending it," he said.
"I'm keen to extend it and I'll speak to Karl and see. I don't think they'll want it to go to the end of the season because it wouldn't give them any goalkeeping cover.
"It will have to be an emergency loan I would expect."
McLoughlin is Walsall's fourth goalkeeper this term – after David Grof, Karl Darlow and Aaron McCarey – with Jimmy Walker and Richard Jones having also been included in the match-day squad.
Meanwhile, Walsall Football Supporters' Trust and Dean Holden's family will hold a collection tomorrow in memory of Dean and Danielle Holden's daughter Cici.
Cici, who was 17 months old, passed away after contracting a strain of meningitis meningcoccal sepsia last year and money raised will go to the Meningitis Trust.
Leaflets from the Meningitis Trust will be handed out with advice on how to spot the symptoms.
Dean Holden T-shirts are also for sale at £12 with profits going to the fund.
