MYLES ROBERTS
Had one nervy moment in possession but produced a handful of strong stops to preserve his third clean sheet in four games.
Clean sheet: 7
RICO BROWNE
Had his work cut out at times when he was drawn into a physical battle with Joe Quigley but improved as the game wore on.
Grew: 6
ADEN FLINT
Dug out Rico Browne on a couple of occasions and demonstrated his calmness and experience with a very professional performance.
Professional: 8
DAN COX
Done his chances no harm whatsoever on his first league start since August. Steady both on the ball and in his decision-making.
Steady: 7
LEWIS WARRINGTON
Guilty of being a little too passive at times and was drawn into a cheap booking. He did press Oldham into a costly mistake for the winner though.
Passive: 6
CONNOR BARRETT
Never really had a chance to demonstrate his attacking prowess but dealt with his defensive duties excellently.
Focused: 7
JAMIE JELLIS
Still finding his feet after returning from his latest spell on the side lines. Had some good moments and will hopefully benefit from this outing.
Progress: 6
CHARLIE LAKIN
Wriggled into some good areas at times and pressed relentlessly with an energetic display out-of-possession.
Energetic: 7
VINCENT HARPER
Worked tirelessly bombing up and down the left. Very terrier-like in his performance and threw himself into every challenge.
Terrier: 7
DANIEL KANU
He reached double figures in all competitions after capitalising on Luke Hannant's mistake in the first half, but was much quieter after the break.
Clinical: 8
JAMILLE MATT
The ball didn't always stick for the Walsall target man but he put in an admirable shift both in and out of possession.
Shift: 7
Subs: Brandon Comley (for Warrington, 62) 7; Ryan Finnigan (for Jellis, 62) 7; Priestley Farquharson (for Cox, 75); Adomah (for Matt, 75); Courtney Clarke (for Lakin, 83).
