MK Dons 5 Walsall 0 - Player ratings
George Bennett gives his Walsall ratings following the heavy defeat to MK Dons

Jackson Smith - 5
Was forced to bring down Max Dean for the penalty after Daniels’ error on what was a difficult afternoon for the goalkeeper, who had to pick the ball out of his net five times.
Donervon Daniels - 4
A day to forget for the Walsall captain on his 100th appearance for the club. Beaten to the ball by Emre Tezgel for MK Dons’ first goal and his poor back pass ultimately led to Smith conceding a penalty for the second goal.
David Okagbue - 5
Got caught in no man’s land for MK’s third and found it impossible to contain their rampant attack.
Taylor Allen - 6
Made a couple of interceptions inside the box and set-up Faal’s second chance with a sublime pass but was unable to stop MK’s second half blitz
Brandon Comley - 5
Faded as the game went on with his international exploits possibly contributing to a leggy performance.
Emmanuel Adegboyega - 5
Mat Sadler’s decision to trial the Norwich City loanee at right wing-back proved underwhelming as the youngster endured an uncharacteristically poor performance.
Isaac Hutchinson - 5
Lost the ball in the build-up to Joe Tomlinson’s fourth and was unable to pose any real threat on the ball.
Ryan Stirk - 5
Made his first start in almost two months but was a quiet figure throughout.
Liam Gordon - 6
Involved in a number of bright moments in the first half but faded after the break.
Mo Faal - 5
Squandered two golden chances with the score still goalless which Walsall would come to rue.
Josh Gordon - 6
Started positively with a nice knockdown for Faal early doors but the forward found himself chasing shadows for the majority of the game.
Subs: Ross Tierney (for Faal, 46) 5, Aramide Oteh (for Daniels) 5, Jamille Matt (for Comley) 5, Danny Johnson (for J Gordon) 5.
