Mat Sadler reveals trial for former Villa winger after Alvechurch win
Mat Sadler has confirmed that former Villa winger Albert Adomah has been with Walsall for "a few days" after he starred as a trialist in their pre-season opener against Alvechurch at Lye Meadow.

Adomah, who left Championship side Queens Park Rangers after his contract expired at the end of last season, played the first 45 minutes as Walsall eventually eased to a routine 3-0 victory.
The 36-year-old was deployed at right wing-back, while summer signing Connor Barrett made his debut in the second half.
Sadler revealed he is looking to bring in another option at right wing-back in the wake of Tom Knowles and Joe Foulkes' departures but insists there is still "work to be done" in regards to Adomah's situation.
"Albert's delivery is probably second to none. I think he's still possibly got the best delivery in the Championship let alone if he was to play in League Two," Sadler said.
"There is still some work to be done on that one. We'll see how things pan out. Albert has been with us for a few days, not for long, but he's a top pro as you are when you play for as long as he has.
"But I've got some options in that area that I've probably got to make the best decision for in order to bring another one in there.
"You can see when I put the two teams out that I have done today, we've got real good strength in that team. Not to mention the right wing-back area, and the same with left wing-back, so we've just got to decide with which one to go with."
Harry Williams opened the scoring for Walsall on his Alvechurch return on the cusp of half-time, before Charlie Lakin added a second with a sweetly struck volley just after the break.
Jamie Jellis wrapped up the win late on with a deflected finish past Charlie Woods and Sadler was delighted to see Williams back in action after missing the second half of the previous campaign with a hip flexor injury.
"His eyes must have lit up when it fell to him in the penalty area there. I think Ronan wanted to take it off him but it was great for Harry," he added.
"With regards to the first half of last season, he was a bit of a surprise package and did brilliant. Then in the second half of the season he got the injury which kept him out but he is a wonderful kid and he has worked so hard to get himself fit.
"That attitude that he shows is exactly why the kid is going to have a football career."
