Mat Sadler calls on Walsall to "work harder" in quest to arrest winless run
Mat Sadler insists Walsall need to "work harder" to arrest a run of seven games without a win in League Two.
Walsall have collected just seven points from the last 10 games, which has seen them plummet from the league summit into ninth.
Their latest defeat to MK Dons on Monday has cut them 11 points adrift of the automatic promotion places and prompted fresh calls for Sadler's sacking among the home fans.
'We have to bring that back quickly' - Sadler on poor Walsall run
"I know very well that the only way that is 100 per cent guaranteed it won't change is by feeling sorry for ourselves," boss Sadler said.
"That is a fact of life. What does that look like? It looks like we have to work harder.

"We have to believe that we can put ourselves in position to go ahead in games and create that momentum from there.
"Clearly at the moment that has fallen away from us at home and we have to bring that back quickly."
'It's all mentality' - Sadler responds to boos
Priestley Farquharson was at fault for Rushian Hepburn-Murphy's opener, before Jon Mellish added a second late on.
Sadler added: "That hard work, energy, intention and intensity - that's what supporters want to see.
"But showing that, being a little bit braver and not wanting to make a mistake is sometimes what can come in these spells.
"Because you don't want to be the one to make that mistake and you can't play football like that because you end up playing within yourselves.
"If we're going to get a boo, it doesn't matter, you've just got to get on with the next thing.
"And if that is contributing to us playing within ourselves then we have to make a choice if we want that to define our game, or performance.
"It's all mentality and about coming out the other side of spells, which hundreds of teams have done before us, and hundreds of teams will after us."
